Be Open Minded!


You may be wondering how?

I want us to know that God is free,wide,vast and just more than we can imagine, how can I even comprehend? This brings me to Thomas.we all nicknamed him "Doubting Thomas" But let's get it straight here,not like Thomas doesn't believe  Jesus is the son of God,he just couldn't bring himself to comprehend or reason with what the apostles were saying, he had a certain form of expectation that unless he sees the hole in his hands unless he sees the piercing at the side..all these criteria just to believe that Christ is risen.This boils down to us, when we're expecting something from God,hope we haven't limited Him in any particular way ? how I had it all planned out ? How I have pictured or imagine it to be?
So many times we try to imagine God perform  wonders and miracle,we want to see it happen in the physical but then we forget that God is far more beyond ,so at the end of the day if it doesn't work or play out the way we wanted it's then seems like something is wrong. No,Let be Open minded!
The spirit of the Lord is just like light ,you just can't tell what end it's reaching,whose seeing it. it is just there radiating .
Sometimes, His leadings ain't making sense to our human mind,that why we have the mind of Christ .'Ours is to listen and not to be rational.
Whatever it is we have been seeing or we think happens..oh!when they start speaking in tongues, God is here!.My dear ,is God really there? when someone falls or rolls on the ground, the fellow is empowered? God has to help break us off this mind set cause most times it boils down to noise.The bible says " ... After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire..those are like the expectations we have sometimes,we want it loud and big , this same open-mindedness boils down also to"sound of a gentle whisper". When you just have that peace over anxieties and worries troubling your mind,you just have God speaking faith and life over your fears. He has given us a Free and Faith Spirit in Him. He is God!..Lord do whatever it is you want to do with me". 



We also have to understand that it's not about a certain form of protocol,The spirit of the Lord is not stereotype!, when you feel it's already becoming a routine we have to retrace our steps You have to fall back into his hand.Those days, I use to think reading the Bible and praying makes me a Christian. But there's more to it!.God's life is new day by day .We have to live and love this life,seek to explore it everyday! ,it is a part of you.It's not a segment .Let the spirit of the Lord teach us. 'What is Christ like  all about? Every morning of our days 'Lord what will you have me do?..let the Spirit of the Lord break us.
Don't forget,You've got a Free and Faith Spirit!
